Flickoral does not require an account and does not collect birth dates. Age confirmation and language preference are stored locally in your browser only.

Requests to /api/performers are proxied server-side; API credentials for our data partner are never exposed to your browser.

This Privacy Policy is governed by French law. Personal data from visitors in the EU/EEA is processed in accordance with the GDPR.

Cookies and tracking

Flickoral does not use cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising trackers. The only data stored is in your browser's local storage, never transmitted to our servers: your age-confirmation flag, your language preference, and any performers you choose to save to your personal list. Clearing your browser storage removes all of it.

What we collect and why

• Performer listings. Flickoral's server fetches live performer listings from our data partner using server-held credentials; your browser never contacts the data partner directly to browse listings, and no personal data about you is sent to them for this purpose.
• Clicking through to watch. Selecting a performer sends your browser directly to that performer's page on our data partner's platform. That platform then processes your visit (IP address, browser data) under its own privacy policy, independent of Flickoral.
• Contact, DMCA, and removal forms. We collect only what each form asks for (see below) to act on your request.

Legal basis for processing

We process contact, DMCA, and removal-request data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): responding to messages sent to us and complying with copyright/removal obligations. Because we do not use cookies or trackers, no consent-based processing takes place.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, use the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr) or your own country's supervisory authority.

International transfers

Flickoral is hosted on Cloudflare's global network, including infrastructure in the United States. Where personal data leaves the EU/EEA, this relies on Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Removal and contact requests

If you submit a performer self-removal request or a DMCA notice, we only use the information you provide to identify the performer/content and process the request. We do not publish requestor contact details, and they are never stored in the performer blocklist itself.

Retention periods (per the GDPR storage-limitation principle and CNIL guidance):

• General contact-form messages with no further follow-up: retained up to 3 years from your last message to us.
• DMCA takedown notices and performer removal requests: retained up to 5 years, matching the French general civil statute of limitations (Code civil, art. 2224) — kept in case the request is later disputed (e.g. a counter-notice).

After these periods, the correspondence is deleted. This does not affect the performer blocklist entry itself, which has no personal data and remains until unblocked.

Children

Flickoral is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect personal data from, anyone under 18. Access requires confirming you meet the minimum age for your jurisdiction.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date below.
